Iberia is one of the world’s hotspots for biodiversity. Great wildlife experiences are available to spot brown bears, wolves, birds of prey, bird migrations, unique flora…etc. We especially like to link our wildlife experiences with the conservation efforts to protect it and the relation of wildlife with men.
The Iberian Peninsula is one of the world’s hotspots for biodiversity thanks to its position between Europe and Africa, its hilly topography and its large areas of low population density and traditional rural life.
This combination allows for great wildlife experiences in an astonishing variety of ecosystems: large mammals like brown bears or wolves in the Cantabrian mountains, endangered species like the Iberian Lynx in the open forests of the South-east, over 600 bird species ranging from Bearded vultures to Wall-creepers in the mountain, unique steppe and marshland species and the show of the migration across the Strait. Butterflies and flora make for another fantastic combination of colour and discovery in our mountains.
Wildlife experiences are included in most of our tours, but we love to organize specific wildlife tours giving them a special connection with conservation projects and making sure that everything besides the spotting sessions runs perfectly so you can enjoy the wildlife and combine your favourite species with as many other activities as you want . Our personal experience of years working with the Bearded vulture conservation project in Spain opened the door to provide a unique insight into the conservation of species, meeting the people that work daily to preserve them and sharing their job to get a new perspective on the wildlife we love.

Birdwatching in the Pyrenees: Enjoy the most iconic mountain species in the area: Bearded vulture,Wall creepers, Golden eagles, Egyptian vultures, Golden orioles, Bee eaters…Some species are seasonal but you can always enjoy a great variety of species with our expert guides. On top of the bird life, enjoy chamois, marmots, butterflies and a unique flora.
Strait Migration: twice a year, a unique birding experience that can be combined with Doñana National park and Lynx spotting.
Monfragüe National Park and Extremadura: A hotspot for birdwatching where you can enjoy sightings of Black Stork, Eurasian Black Vulture, Spanish Imperial eagle,, Egyptian Vulture, Golden Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, and Bonelli’s Eagle.
Hides: for patient photographers the number and variety of hides in Spain are increasing day by day, offering great opportunities to admire and capture Iberian Lynx, Golden Eagles, Bearded Vultures, Wildcats, Otters….etc. These can be combined as a one day experience in some of our wildlife tours or combined to make an specific photographic tour.

A unique opportunity to get to know a large scale conservation project with a detailed look at its goals, techniques, history, relation with the environment and traditional human activities..etc. Get to know the people that works with the specie and share time with them to get a new perspective on wildlife conservation.
We have been part of this project for the last 20 years, first working in it and later promoting the connection between tourism and conservation projects like this one.

The Cantabrian mountains running along the northern Atlantic coast of Spain hide some of the most remote and best preserved mountain areas in Spain. Thanks to this and the survival of a traditional farming culture we can find some of the most iconic wildlife species in Europe.
Within a few hours we can spot mammals like brown bears, wolves, chamois, ibex and wild cats combined with Bearded vultures, Golden eagles and Wallcreepers.
On top of the spottings, this tour offers the opportunity to learn about the conservation programs of these endangered species and understand the connections and challenges of the cohabitation of wildlife and traditional farming.
